Background

The client approached us after a sudden drop in his CIBIL score — from 768 to 727 — despite a flawless repayment history with no missed EMIs or card payments. Before contacting us, he had already tried to resolve the issue directly with CIBIL, but could not get the discrepancies corrected. He found Kenstone Credit through a Google search, and the case was assigned to me.

My approach

In our first discussion, the client told me that several active and closed loan accounts, credit card details, and repayment history were either missing from his CIBIL report or inaccurately reflected.

Instead of relying solely on the client's observations, I conducted a detailed verification: I compared the latest CIBIL report with his previous report and with reports from the other credit bureaus to identify the exact discrepancies. I studied his complete credit history, verified every supporting document, and confirmed the score decline was caused by reporting inaccuracies — not by his repayment behaviour.

Based on my findings, I prepared the case, raised the appropriate PMO grievance, and coordinated with the concerned stakeholders to initiate rectification — with continuous follow-ups and the client kept informed until every discrepancy was resolved.

Why this case matters

A score can fall with no fault of yours — when the data itself goes missing. Accounts, cards, and years of repayment history can drop off a report or turn inaccurate, and the score follows. The client's own dispute couldn't move it; what worked was verification against his previous reports and the other bureaus, the right escalation, and follow-up to verified closure. Within a week, the report told the truth again — and the score went back to where his conduct had earned it.

I was facing some serious issues with my cibil reports. My active loans, closed loans, credit cards, repayment history were not reflecting accurately, causing my cibil score to drop drastically from 768 to 727 without any missed payments. Then i contacted Kenstone capital on July 8th and forwarded the required documents for rectification. They deputed Ms.Aradhana to look in to my problems. By july 14th, all the missing data had been recovered and my cibil score regained its previous spot of 768.They sorted out the entire issue within just 7 days.Thank you for the outstanding support and excellent service.
