Seven years stuck: a ₹7,00,000 PNB outstanding, settled at ₹20,000
Background
Ms. Kartika Singh carried a PNB credit matter that had been unresolved for nearly seven years — an outstanding that had grown to ₹7,00,000, on a case complicated by the passage of time itself: her email, mobile number and home address had all changed since the account's era, which is exactly how old cases become "impossible" ones. Nobody could reach anybody, and the entry sat on her report, aging without resolving.
Why settlement — and why that was the honest call here
We say it on our settlement advice page and we mean it: settlement is a trade, wrong when sold as a shortcut, right in genuine hardship — and a seven-year-old matter where the balance has compounded far beyond the original borrowing, and where resolution has failed for years, is the textbook case where a negotiated settlement is the rational, honest exit. The alternatives were priced first, as they always are. Here, the arithmetic and the years pointed one way.
The approach
Aradhana re-established what seven years had broken: verified contact and identity with the bank, reconstructed the case history, and ran the negotiation and coordination through to a written settlement — with daily-cadence follow-ups and the client updated at every step, the working style Ms. Singh's own review describes better than we could. The outcome: the ₹7,00,000 outstanding settled for ₹20,000, the settlement papered, and a seven-year weight lifted.
The outcome — in the client's words
A five-star public review, naming her analyst and describing the handling day by day:
Dear Kenstone Team, I am writing this letter to express my deepest gratitude for the incredible service I received from your team. For many years, I was suffering due to a highly complex CIBIL issue. My case was incredibly difficult because my email ID, mobile number, and even my home address had all changed over time, making it seem almost impossible to resolve. However, your team stood by me like family through it all. I am highly satisfied with the service provided, and I want to specially recognize Aradhna. She handled my case exceptionally well. Aradhna guided me through every single step, looked after the matter personally, and always stood by me. Even if I forgot something, she was always there to update me and followed up on a daily basis. Because of her dedication and brilliant handling, my CIBIL report issues have now been resolved perfectly. Thank you so much, Aradhna, for solving this case, and thank you to the entire team for treating me like family. Warm regards, KARTIKA SINGH
The honest note every settlement case must carry
A settled account is reported as settled, not closed — the trade our settlement guide prices in full — and future lenders will read that tag until it is outgrown or upgraded. For a seven-year matter at this arithmetic, the trade was worth making, knowingly. And the path onward exists and stays open: rebuilding from resolution, and, where finances later allow, the paid-difference upgrade toward a closed status. That is the difference between selling settlements and advising on them — the client walks in informed, decides with the numbers, and walks out with the matter genuinely finished.
